袁樹榮，1972年生于四季分明美麗的黑龍江省哈爾濱市，書香世家。童年的記憶里總是在父親寫寫畫畫中度過，花鳥魚蟲、人物、山石樹木、水天一色之美景，在父親的筆下栩栩如生，天生好奇的袁樹榮對繪畫藝術“情有獨鐘”。
袁樹榮自幼隨父親袁秀清學習繪畫等中國傳統(tǒng)文化，后師從墨骨畫家徐向東老師，工筆畫家李曉燕兩位老師系統(tǒng)學習工筆花鳥，畫家楊曉娜老師學習寫意牡丹，寫意花鳥結(jié)合筆墨運用才能營造出生機勃發(fā)，清古甜美的畫面，使人們在優(yōu)美的視覺畫面中得到欣然的藝術感染與精神慰籍。
袁樹榮，信仰佛教。1995年起就就往全國多家寺院捐款，常年印制經(jīng)書。汶川地震，玉樹地震都有捐款。每月都有為邊遠山區(qū)的孩子們能吃上有營養(yǎng)的午餐先上綿薄之力，為邊遠山區(qū)的孩子們送上嶄新的書包，為聾啞學校送上學習用品。袁樹榮，1998年哈爾濱抗洪救災中做出突出貢獻。
袁樹榮喜愛牡丹。國畫牡丹，雍榮華貴，美艷絕倫，富貴天香，花大色美，自古就有“花中之王”的美譽。一直被中國人視為富貴、吉祥、幸福、繁榮的象征。唐著名詩人劉禹錫有詩云：“庭前芍藥妖無格，池上芙蕖凈少情。惟有牡丹真國色，花開時節(jié)動京城?！痹瑯錁s的寫意牡丹，在繼承國畫傳統(tǒng)的基礎上，取西畫技法之精華，將寫意與工筆相結(jié)合。作品渾厚豪放，瀟灑俏麗，空靈雋雅，情趣盎然，達到熟其性、取其形、得其神，形成清新明快、艷而不俗、神形兼?zhèn)洹⒀潘坠操p的藝術風格，國色天香，花開富貴作品在文化部，全國美術考級機構(gòu)，中國美術學院，社會美術考級中心《美術作品集》中。
2018年作品工筆《連年有余》榮獲黑龍江省書畫藝術大賽一等獎。
2019年工筆六尺《蓮》榮獲全國華盛杯全國書畫藝術大賽一等獎，經(jīng)過多年潛心專研作品得到了社會各界人士認可被中外有人收藏。2019年6月18日中央電視臺給袁樹榮老師下達了邀請函，赴京參加一年一度全國各地優(yōu)秀人才頒獎盛典，在央視的舞臺上現(xiàn)場作畫，她的國畫牡丹作品己顯大師之風范，受到主持人與觀眾的一致好評，袁樹榮老師被評為“中國當代最具特色書畫名家”榮譽稱號！2019年10月作品“盛世祥和”入選中華文化復興踐行者，國慶獻禮，大型文獻類珍藏郵冊，發(fā)行出版。
2020年1月15日在藝巡中華工藝文化活動中，牡丹作品獲一等獎。2020年2月，作品《逆行天使》在全國網(wǎng)絡大賽上獲優(yōu)秀獎。2020年書香錦繡書畫大賽工筆富貴有魚在3月份榮獲二等獎。2020年3月晨曦杯，最具潛力收藏價值藝術家稱號。時光科技傳媒書畫展作品榮獲二等獎。2020年4月書畫作品正式被“文化復興”砥礪前行中華文化復興踐行者走進迪拜主題《中國郵冊》收錄。被譽為“國家名片”之美譽。發(fā)行郵票，郵品，郵冊。2020年5月真跡名家“加油中國文化興邦”榮獲最具有影響力國畫家。2020年中國文化進萬家建黨100年，先鋒人物并入編中國文化進萬家2021年精品日歷年鑒。
2021年建黨100年北京班墨名典藝術品鑒定評藝術楷模稱號。2021年作品風華絕代參加翼南山抵抗日地道戰(zhàn)，詩書畫藝術風采活動入圍百花齊放獎。
2022年6月作品《春暖人間》在中國教育電視臺《潑墨中華情》舉辦的“以藝抗疫·藝展風采”書畫大賽中榮獲二等獎。2022年9月作品入選“喜迎二十大·永遠跟黨走”新時代藝術家詩書畫展，榮獲“新時代藝術代表人物”榮譽稱號。經(jīng)孔子美術館認證頒發(fā)“中國藝壇名家工作室”榮譽牌匾。2022年10月由中國教育電視臺《水墨丹青》欄目舉辦的《水墨人生·當代書畫藝術名家專題展》作品榮譽展出。
2023年5月作品在2023中國文化進萬家融合發(fā)展大會“萬家之佳杯”文學藝術展會中榮獲“惟穎維卓”雙百文學藝術獎。2023年榮獲聚焦兩會德藝雙馨書畫名家榮譽稱號。2023年7月在第八屆“孔雀杯邀請賽”全國總決賽中，榮獲“優(yōu)秀指導教師”獎。2023年8月在夢回敦煌研學營中榮獲“優(yōu)秀組織獎”“優(yōu)秀指導師獎”。
2024年應邀參加“百杰賀歲國際春晚”的現(xiàn)場錄制，并榮獲“百杰書畫家”榮譽稱號。同年12月參加“復興之路”新時代書畫名家邀請展。
Yuan Shurong, one of the Most Distinctive Contemporary Chinese Calligraphers and Painters
Yuan Shurong is currently the vice president of Beijing Jinghuage Painting Academy. He is a national first-class artist, a member of the Hong Kong Federation of Literature and Art, a researcher at the Chinese Wang Xizhi Culture Research Institute, a member of the Guangdong South China Art Research Institute, an academician of the Yixun Zhonghua Charity Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a member of the Shuimodanqing Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a member of the China Alliance Association, and a specially invited art consultant of Mingrenbaike.com.
Yuan Shurong was born in 1972 in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, a beautiful place with distinct four seasons, into a family of scholars. In his childhood memories, he always spent time watching his father write and paint. The beautiful scenes of flowers, birds, fish, insects, figures, mountains, rocks, trees, and the integrated view of water and sky were vividly depicted under his father's brush. Yuan Shurong, who was naturally curious, developed a special love for painting art.
Since childhood, Yuan Shurong has learned traditional Chinese culture such as painting from his father, Yuan Xiuqing. Later, he studied meticulous flower-and-bird painting systematically under Mr. Xu Xiangdong, a boneless ink painter, and Ms. Li Xiaoyan, a meticulous painter. He also learned freehand peony painting from Ms. Yang Xiaona. By combining freehand flower-and-bird painting with the application of brush and ink, he can create vivid, fresh, ancient, and sweet paintings, enabling people to be artistically inspired and spiritually comforted by the beautiful visual images.
Yuan Shurong believes in Buddhism. Since 1995, he has donated money to many monasteries across the country and has been printing Buddhist scriptures all year round. He also made donations during the Wenchuan earthquake and the Yushu earthquake. Every month, he does his bit to ensure that children in remote mountainous areas can have nutritious lunches. He sends brand-new school bags to children in remote mountainous areas and learning supplies to deaf-mute schools. Yuan Shurong made outstanding contributions during the flood fighting and disaster relief in Harbin in 1998.
Yuan Shurong loves peonies. In Chinese painting, peonies are elegant, magnificent, extremely beautiful, and symbolize wealth and good fortune. With their large size and beautiful colors, they have been known as the "King of Flowers" since ancient times and have always been regarded by the Chinese people as a symbol of wealth, auspiciousness, happiness, and prosperity. Liu Yuxi, a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty, once wrote: "The peonies in the front yard are charming but lack grace; the lotus in the pond is pure but lacks sentiment. Only the peony is truly the national beauty; when it blooms, it stirs the capital city." Based on inheriting the traditions of Chinese painting, Yuan Shurong's freehand peony paintings absorb the essence of Western painting techniques and combine freehand and meticulous styles. His works are vigorous, bold, unrestrained, pretty, ethereal, elegant, and full of charm. He grasps the nature, shape, and spirit of the subject, forming an artistic style that is fresh, bright, gorgeous yet not vulgar, with both form and spirit, and appealing to both refined and popular tastes. His works, such as "National Beauty and Heavenly Fragrance" and "Flowers Bloom, Bringing Wealth", are included in the "Artwork Collection" of the Ministry of Culture, the National Art Rating Institution, the China Academy of Art, and the Social Art Rating Center.
In 2018, his meticulous painting "Surplus Year after Year" won the first prize in the Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition of Heilongjiang Province.
In 2019, his six-foot meticulous painting "Lotus" won the first prize in the Huasheng Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Art Competition. After years of dedicated research, his works have been recognized by people from all walks of life and collected by Chinese and foreign enthusiasts. On June 18, 2019, CCTV issued an invitation to Mr. Yuan Shurong to attend the annual award ceremony for outstanding talents from all over the country in Beijing. He painted on the spot on the CCTV stage. His Chinese painting of peonies showed the demeanor of a master and was highly praised by the host and the audience. Mr. Yuan Shurong was awarded the honorary title of "One of the Most Distinctive Contemporary Chinese Calligraphers and Painters"! In October 2019, his work "Prosperous and Peaceful Age" was selected for the large-scale documentary collection philatelic album presented as a National Day gift by the Practitioners of Chinese Cultural Renaissance.
On January 15, 2020, in the Yixun Zhonghua Arts and Crafts Cultural Activity, his peony work won the first prize. In February 2020, his work "Retrograde Angels" won the excellence award in the national online competition. In March 2020, his meticulous painting "Richness with Fish" won the second prize in the Shuxiang Jinxiu Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In March 2020, he was awarded the title of the Most Promising Artist with Collection Value in the Chenxi Cup. His works in the Shiguang Science and Technology Media Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition won the second prize. In April 2020, his calligraphy and painting works were officially included in the "Chinese Philatelic Album" with the theme of "Cultural Renaissance" and "Forge Ahead: Practitioners of Chinese Cultural Renaissance Enter Dubai". In June 2022, his work "Warmth Spreads across the World" won the second prize in the "Fighting the Epidemic with Art · Showcasing Artistic Style" Calligraphy and Painting Competition held by China Education Television's "Splashing Ink with Chinese Sentiment". In September 2022, his work was selected for the "Welcome the 20th National Congress of the CPC · Always Follow the Party" Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Exhibition of New Era Artists and he was awarded the honorary title of "Representative Figure of New Era Art". He was certified and awarded the honorary plaque of "Famous Chinese Art Circle Studio" by the Confucius Art Museum. In October 2022, his works were honorably exhibited in the "Ink and Wash Life · Special Exhibition of Contemporary Calligraphers and Painters" held by the "Ink and Wash Painting" program of China Education Television.
In May 2023, his work won the "Weiying Weizhuo" Double Hundred Literature and Art Award in the "Wanjiazhijia Cup" Literature and Art Exhibition of the 2023 Chinese Culture Integration and Development Conference. In 2023, he was awarded the honorary title of "Virtuous and Talented Calligrapher and Painter Focusing on the Two Sessions". In July 2023, he won the "Outstanding Instructor" award in the final of the 8th "Peacock Cup Invitational Tournament".
